U.S. Chamber files coalition amicus brief

November 21, 2022

The U.S. Chamber filed an amicus brief with a coalition arguing that the federal Clean Air Act and Airline Deregulation Act each preempt a California air quality district’s regulations that effectively require warehouses within the district to purchase zero-emission or near-zero-emission trucks to transport the freight stored at those warehouses.

Elizabeth Holt Andrews and Misha Tseytlin of Troutman Pepper Hamilton Sanders LLP and the U.S. Chamber’s Litigation Center served as co-counsel for the U.S. Chamber.
