Ten days after the Chamber filed suit against parts of the Transparency in Coverage Rule, federal agencies announced they would conduct a new rulemaking and defer enforcement of every provision we challenged.

U.S. Chamber and Tyler Area Chamber file lawsuit challenging HHS-DOL-IRS Transparency in Coverage regulations, which impose new disclosure and compliance obligations on insurers and self-insured employers

Plaintiffs allege that the agencies exceeded their statutory authority and violated the Administrative Procedure Act in promulgating the regulations.
