Describing at length the asbestos litigation crisis and canvassing various judicial approaches to address the plaintiffs’ overreaching, NCLC urged the New York Court of Appeals to reject employer liability for a non-employee spouse’s injury allegedly suffered as a result of laundering her husband's presumably asbestos-covered clothes for three decades.
