U.S. Chamber files amicus brief

December 23, 2022

The U.S. Chamber filed an amicus brief urging the New York Court of Appeals to grant review of an intermediate appellate court decision holding that under New York’s zone-of-interests test for standing, litigant that had alleged economic injury attributable to public health regulations could not challenge those regulations. Steven A. Engel, Michael H. McGinley, and M. Scott Proctor of Dechert LLP and the U.S. Chamber’s Litigation Center served as co-counsel for the U.S. Chamber.
