U.S. Chamber files coalition amicus brief urging District Court to strike down California A.B. 5 under the Equal Protection Clause

Click here to view the amicus brief filed by the U.S. Chamber, Engine Advocacy, and TechNet. The brief argues that California AB 5 harms workers, businesses, consumers, and the entire state economy. Furthermore, AB 5 denies Equal Protection by irrationally singling out union-targeted industries and business models for unfavorable treatment.
