November 20, 2020

The U.S. Chamber filed an amicus brief urging the Ninth Circuit to hold that the Federal Arbitration Act’s exemption for transportation workers “engaged in interstate commerce” does not cover rideshare drivers who occasionally drop off passengers at airports or train stations. Archis A. Parasharami and Daniel E. Jones of Mayer Brown LLP and the U.S. Chamber’s Litigation Center served as co-counsel for the U.S. Chamber.
