The U.S. Chamber filed an amicus brief urging the Ninth Circuit to reaffirm that under California law, a manufacturer of a product has no duty to disclose defects in the product beyond the duration set forth in its express warranty, absent either an affirmative misrepresentation or an unreasonable safety defect.
